CTV shows return to Rogers On Demand

In September of 2009, CTV and Rogers announced a deal that would allow Rogers digital cable customers to watch CTV shows on its video on demand (VOD) service.

Beginning in March of this year, Digital Home readers began complaining that Rogers had dropped many CTV shows from the video on demand service.

Several months later, every CTV show disappeared from the video on demand service without explanation.

It turns out CTV and Rogers were having a spat which appears to have been resolved because beginning this week CTV Network shows have begun re-appearing on the VOD service.

Rogers customers can now watch 26 primetime shows in standard definition, sorry no high definition, through Rogers Video on Demand channel 100.

No word on how long it will last.
