Apple iTunes 9.2 adds iPhone 4 support
With less than a week to go to the launch of the iPhone 4, Apple has released iTunes 9.2 which brings support for the new device.
The new software comes with several new features including the ability to: sync with the iPhone 4; sync and read books with iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 4; sync PDF documents as books; and organize apps on iOS 4 home screens into folders using iTunes.
Under the covers, Apple says it has fixed a number of security issues and improved performance. iTunes 9.2 users can expect faster back-ups while syncing an iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 4 and thanks to album artwork improvements, artwork should appear more quickly when exploring your library
iTune users can get the latest update by opening on iTunes and clicking on “Help” followed by “Check for updates.” Depending on your operating system, the download may be as large as 110 megabytes.
