Viewsonic intros VPD400 Movie Book media player
Viewsonic, best known for their computer displays, today announced its new palm sized VPD200 MovieBook portable media player which lets users view photos, videos and listen to music while on the go.
Features of the VPD400 include: a 4.3-inch, 800×480 high-resolution LCD screen; 8GB of internal memory; Micro SD storage slot and an estimated battery life of up to 12 hours of audio and up to six hours of video.
Video and audio formats supported include AVI, MKV, FLV, MPG, MOV, MPG, VOB, RM/RMVB and H.264 for video and MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC and DTS/AC3 for audio.
The Viewsonic VPD400 portable movie player comes in black, white and pink and will sell for $160 in Canada and $130 in the U.S.
