TomTom XXL 540S World Traveler Edition announced
TomTom today announced the TomTom XXL 540S World Traveler Edition featuring a five-inch screen, maps of U.S., Canada and Europe and TomTom’s IQ Routing technology.
The new device will be in retail stores across the United States and Canada in early December for $350 US and $400 CDN respectively.
Additional features of the TomTom XXL devices include:
Advanced Lane Guidance for realistic representations of complex highway junctions and lane-specific visual directions
TomTom Map Share technology, so users can modify street names, street direction, points of interest and more on their device, as well as benefit from corrections made by others;
TomTom “Help Me!” menu, so users can access local emergency service providers such as police, fire stations and hospitals;
Full maps of the U.S., Canada and Europe;
Seven million Points of interest;
4GB of memory storage;
Also included withe the TomTom XXl 540S is: “Home”, TomTom’s desktop application to keep users’ devices up-to-date; EasyPort mount; USB car charger and USB cable, adhesive disk for mounting on the dashboard and user guide.
