This Week on Blu-ray
Digital Home’s top pick on Blu-ray this week is “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs”, the third installment of the Ice Age series.
In this adventure, Manny (voice of Ray Romano) and gang try to rescue Sid (John Leguizamo) when he is taken by a female Tyrannosaurus rex after stealing her eggs.
The film received mixed reviews from critics but it should still be a winner among the 12 and under crowd. Also for the under 12 crowd is “Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure”, the second in the direct to home movie series from Disney.
Notable releases this week for the over 12 set include: “Monty Python: Almost the Truth”, a six part documentary about the famous troupe that originally aired on IFC, and “Battlestar Galactica: The Plan”, which takes fans inside the Cylons’ plans.
