DAVE Wireless and Rogers finalize roaming agreement

wirelessData & Audio Visual Enterprises Wireless Inc. (DAVE Wireless), the company formed by John Bitove and venture capitalists from the United States, this week announced that it has signed a multi-year roaming agreement with Rogers Wireless.

The deal is Dave’s second major agreement in the last five weeks. Last month, Dave announced it had signed a licensing agreement with Bell Mobility for wireless cell-site sharing.

The latest deal will allow future Dave customers to roam anywhere in North America. The company plans to sell wireless communications services in cities across Canada starting next year, including Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa.

“We needed a high-quality partner to provide our customers voice and data roaming services when they travel outside our coverage areas.” said Dave Dobbin, President of DAVE Wireless.
