Bell Mobility to launch MiFi Hotspot

novatel_mifi_2372Bell Mobility this week announced two new products to coincide with the launch of its new HSPA wireless network in November.

The first product announced was the Novatel U998 HSPA+ Turbo Stick for mobile access from a single computer and the second product announced was the MiFi 2372 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot which offers mobile access to multiple computers.

The HSPA+ Turbo Stick will be exclusive to Bell and plugs into a USB port of notebook or netbook PCs, with a microSDHC card slot for as much as 32GB of storage.

The Novatel MiFi 2372 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot offers simultaneous Wi-Fi connectivity for up to five devices including computers, portable gaming devices and media players, for up to four hours on a single charge.

Weighing about 3 ounces, the device is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems and includes a microSD slot for expandable memory of up to 16 gigabytes.

Pricing information was not released.
